Choose Cloud Architecture Around the Workload

Public, private, and hybrid cloud describe different approaches. None automatically answers whether your accounting application will perform well or whether your team can recover its data.

Begin with the workload: who uses it, what information it contains, how it connects to other systems, and how interruptions would affect operations. Identify connectivity requirements and clarify responsibility for updates, access, backup, and recovery. A hybrid approach also needs a plan for the connections between environments.

Compare options against those requirements. Choosing architecture becomes easier when you can explain why a particular application belongs in a particular place, and what your business must do to keep it dependable.
